"Gem of a neighborhood spot. Got shrimp & carnitas tacos, chili rellenos, & the sopa Aztecs. Service was very friendly and on point, they have live music and the atmosphere is very lively, lots of families or groups, there's a attached bar where you can pee through the walls at the many TVs in this place . They offer free chips with black bean and cheese. Was dying to try their guacamole bc saw it at the other table and it looked huge and delicious.
The sopa Azteca tasted weird to me, at one point I tasted dishwasher soap but that may have been the combo of avocado in hot tomato with cheese chunks soup. Not sure but wouldn't order it again, left it virtually untouched. Bf gobbled up the tacos and I was unusually silent during dinner bc I was attacking my dish. Chili rellenos is my go to order whenever im having Mexican and it is so easy to mess up, it's an art honestly bc everything has to be in perfect harmony from the texture of the cheese and chilis to the massive sauce on top.
I finished everything. I cannot wait to come back and eat everything."

"Una verdadera gema escondida en el vecindario. Pedi tacos de Camarón y carnitas, chile relleno y la Sopa Azteca. El servicio fue amigable y a un punto, tuvieron música en vivo y la atmósfera se animó bastante, había muchas familias o grupos de personas. Hay una barra adjunta que puedes ‘espiar’ a través de los arcos en las paredes desde el area de restaurante los diversos monitores de TV que tienen en este lugar. Ofrecen gratis totopos con frijoles refritos negros y queso. Me moría por probar el guacamole porque lo vi en la otra mesa de al lado y se veía enorme y delicioso.
La Sopa Azteca me supo rara, a un punto me supo como a jabón lavatrastes, pero eso pudo haber sido la combinación de aguacate con tomate picante en la sopa con trozos de queso. No estoy segura, pero no la ordenaré otra vez, la dejé prácticamente completa. Mi pareja se engulló sus tacos y yo estaba inusualmente callada durante la cena, porque estaba atacando mi platillo. Chile relleno es mi favorito cada que ordeno comida Mexicana y es tan fácil de estropearlo, honestamente, es todo un arte, porque todo tiene que estar en perfecta armonia, desde la textura de queso y el chile poblano hasta la masiva salsa encima.
